Ocvrta gnocco pripadajo tradicionalne Emilian kuhinje. Izvirni recept za ocvrti gnocco zahteva cvrtje v mast, danes pa raje uporabo nafte kot alternativa. Ocvrta gnocco je zelo enostaven recept za pripravo, samo, da imajo malo potrpljenja, da zgnetemo sestavine skupaj: moka, voda, mleko, masti in kvas. To lahko uživajo vroče, enkrat ocvrte in rahlo segrejemo, spremlja narezke. S časom se je ocvrt cmok delo na različnih imen, njegova dobrota je ostala nepoškodovana!
